VIVENDI ENTERTAINMENT PROMOTES YOLANDA MACIAS TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND ACQUISITIONS

Universal City, California, November 9, 2009 — Vivendi Entertainment (VE) has promoted Yolanda Macias to Executive Vice President of Business Development and Acquisitions, it was announced today by Tom O’Malley, President of Vivendi Entertainment. Formerly, she was SVP of Business Development and Acquisitions.

In her expanded role, Macias will continue to be responsible for sourcing and acquiring content from producers and indie studios for theatrical and home entertainment distribution. Additionally, she continues to oversee the company’s finance and digital divisions. The company recently completed the acquisition of Genius Products which brought a number of prominent brands under the VE distribution umbrella including World Wrestling Entertainment (Wrestlemania series), Classic Media (Frosty The Snowman, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer), RHI Entertainment (Tin Man, Lonesome Dove) and The Weinstein Company (The Reader, Vicky Cristina Barcelona).

“Yolanda has been an indispensable part of the successful growth of Vivendi Entertainment through her leadership in the area of business development,” stated Mr. O’Malley. “Most recently, she negotiated the Genius acquisition that has transformed VE into the independent home entertainment market leader.”

Prior to joining Vivendi Entertainment, Macias was Vice President of DIRECTV Spanish language platform and International Services for DIRECTV, Inc. While there, she launched and oversaw all aspects of the Spanish-language and Chinese-language programming service as well as international and ethnic programming developments for DIRECTV. Ms. Macias has also held executive positions at Technicolor and The Walt Disney Company.

Macias served on the board of directors for the T. Howard Foundation, promoting the employment of minorities in the satellite industry. She received her BS degree from California State University, Northridge and her MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
