UM360 INC. SIGN MANAGEMENT DEAL WITH HIT-MAKING PRODUCER AND SONGWRITER, JEFF MIYAHARA

Tokyo, JP, August 18, 2009 - UM360 Inc., the wholly-owned artist management company of Universal Music LLC. (Japan), a division of UMG, has signed an exclusive management contract with one of Japan's hottest producer/songwriters, Jeff Miyahara. As part of the deal, UM360 Inc. will provide management services and leverage UMG's market leading position to expand business opportunities and broaden his international presence.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jeff Miyahara has become one of the country's most successful producers, already guiding several artists to No. 1 on the Japanese digital charts. His breakout hit was 2008's "Kiminosubeteni", a hip-hop track he produced for Spontania featuring JUJU, which sold over 3.5 million digital downloads. Since then, he has produced a string of chart-toppings songs including "Sunaoninaretara" by JUJU featuring Spontania, "Ashitagakurunara" by JUJU featuring JAY'ED, and "sad to say" by Jasmine, all of which hit the top spot on the Japanese digital charts. He has also produced Top 10 albums for Meisa Kuroki (Hellcat) and Kana Nishino (LOVE one ).

In addition, Mr. Miyahara has begun to expand into the US music scene, working with Speech from Arrested Development, mega-producer Timbaland, and Grammy-Award winning artists Boyz II Men.
