FRANCIS KEELING APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT, DIGITAL, AT UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP INTERNATIONAL

London, April 6 2009 – Francis Keeling has been promoted to Vice President, Digital, at Universal Music Group International (UMGI). The appointment was announced today by Rob Wells, Senior Vice President, Digital, UMGI, to whom he will report.

Keeling, 36, was previously Head of Commercial, Digital, at Universal Music UK, which he joined in 2002.

Universal Music Group is the world’s leading music company. UMGI is the division which manages its businesses in more than 50 countries outside North America.

In his new post, based in London, Keeling will be responsible for managing UMGI’s commercial relationships with various business partners, including its ongoing discussions with ISPs about new music services.

This appointment reflects the excellent business contributions Francis has made, including a key role in developing our partnerships with Nokia, BSkyB and Orange. His promotion is well-deserved.”
