U2's "No Line On The Horizon" Hits No. 1, Makes Rock History
U2 has done it again, their latest album No Line on the Horizon has been ranked as the No. 1 spot in The Billboard 200. This is U2’s seventh time having an album in the top slot. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album is having the best sales week of any artist in 2009.
This seventh time atop The Billboard 200 has truly made music history, pushing U2 into an elite league of rock legends who have acheived that level of commercial success. U2 now fall in third place for the group with the most Number 1 albums on the chart in history, tied with gods of hard rock Led Zeppelin. They only trail behind the Beatles (with 19 No. 1’s) and the Rolling Stones (with 9).
