Ne-Yo To Perform During Powerade Jamfest In Milwaukee
Singer and songwriter Ne-Yo will perform and serve as a celebrity judge during this year’s POWERade JamFest, a high energy event leading up to the 31st annual McDonald’s All American® Games.
During his performance, Ne-Yo will sing hit singles “Go on Girl” and “Because of You.” In addition, Ne-Yo will join a host of guest judges including basketball legend Julius “Dr. J” Erving; Gilbert Brown, former Green Bay Packer and current Head Coach for the Milwaukee Bonecrushers; and Michelyn Butler, the current Miss Wisconsin, to judge the Slam Dunk contest.
Ne-Yo will also meet with two local families staying at the Ronald McDonald House® of Milwaukee, while their children are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals including: Colleen and Werner Haberl with daughters Mia and Chelsey, and Donna Benes with her son Paul. Paul will also join Ne-Yo as a guest judge during POWERade JamFest.

Ne-Yo’s participation in the POWERade JamFest is a part of his role as a Celebrity Friend of RMHC. The recently launched program is an extension of the Charity’s existing Friends of RMHC volunteer program, which includes more than 30,000 volunteers from around the world.
The Celebrity Friends of RMHC volunteer their time to help brighten the lives of children and families in need, promoting the vital efforts of RMHC, and its three core programs: Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room® and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®.
Ne-Yo is one of 17 Celebrity Friends participating in the program and also served as an ambassador during World Children’s Day® at McDonald’s® the company’s largest fundraiser for RMHC. For a full list of Celebrity Friends, visit Ronald McDonald's House Charities' website.
