Juanes Hits The Headlines As Latin Music's Star Of The Decade
Juanes has been named Star Of The Decade by Billboard and the star is the only artist to appear in the top five for The Decade Latin Albums, Songs, Artists And Songwriter Charts, which have often seen multiple entries.
The star has also recently won the 2009 National Peace Prize in acknowledgment of the work he has done on behalf of victims of Colombia's armed conflict. He has also been named as Person Of The Year by both Colombian Newspaper El Espectador and Colombian Broadcaster RCN. Spanish newspaper El Pais named Juanes as one of The 100 People Of The Year.
