Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" Sets Ringtone Record
Hinder's debut album, Extreme Behavior, is Platinum in the U.S. and Canada. The album has produced four radio hits, including the number one single "Lips of an Angel". The track, which has already set the record for most ringtone downloads sold in a single week by a Universal rock act, was recently certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA – surpassing AC/DC's "Back in Black" to make it the largest selling rock ringtone of all time. "Lips of an Angel" reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Singles Chart, Top 5 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and #1 on the iTunes Canada Singles chart.
Hinder is well known for their straightforward rock ‘n’ roll, with upbeat anthems and ballads that tap into fans’ emotions without resorting to rage or depression. Their four part harmony and twin lead guitars have won over millions of fans around the world. The Oklahoma City rock band members include Austin Winkler (vocals), Joe “Blower” Garvey and Mark King (guitar), Mike Rodden (bass) and Cody Hanson (drums).
