Taylor Swift Awarded Album Of The Year at Academy Of Country Music Awards
What can’t Taylor Swift do? Her debut album Fearless seems to be producing records left and right! In fact at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Swift was honored with three trophies – including the industry’s most prestigious honor the Album Of The Year. At 19, Swift is the youngest artist in history to win Album Of The Year.
In case you were thinking that Taylor Swift is nothing more than a pretty face and a beautiful voice, think again. She not only wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on her album but also co-produced it along with Nathan Chapman.
Swift was quoted as having said:
"I put absolutely everything I have into this album," Swift said last night of Fearless. "These are songs I wrote in my bedroom. I worked on this album for two years, and I can't believe my name was called! Getting to write every song on an album and having it voted album of the year is an indescribable honor."
Fans who are interested in seeing Swift perform live and haven’t purchased their tickets for the TAYLOR SWIFT FEARLESS 2009 TOUR already better start looking, since tickets for all the shows that have been put on sale so far have sold out within minutes. In fact her show set for August at New York’s Madison Square Garden sold out in under a minute. Her tour starts on April 23rd in Evansville, Indiana, and runs through October.
