Matt White Shines Bright at the Blender Theater
Singer/songwriter Matt White says playing live in front of an audience is his "true love in life," and last night (3/2/08) at the Blender Theater he showed us why he feels that way. Matt put on an incredibly dynamic performance, straddling both light and dark songs with ease. His lighthearted romantic hit, "Love," left the girls in the audience swooning, but his voice felt equally at home in deeper songs like "Moment of Weakness."

White, who's been called the "next big thing" by Perez Hilton and been crowned an "AOL Breaker," is set to share the stage with icon Sheryl Crow on his current endeavor.
Best Days, White's debut album, is out in stores now and begins what looks to be a promising career. Details called it "hard to resist," and according to Rolling Stone, "he's capable of standing out from the increasingly crowded pack of twenty-first-century Funky White Boys."
Here are some more pics of the fresh-faced heartthrob singing his heart out at the Blender Theater at Grammercy.
