Lost Highway Recording Artist, Ryan Bingham, Wins Academy Award® for "The Weary Kind (Theme from Crazy Heart)"
Lost Highway Recording artist, Ryan Bingham, won the ACADEMY AWARD® for Best Original Song for the "The Weary Kind (Theme from Crazy Heart)" at the 82nd Academy Award® ceremonies on March 7 in the US. The song, "The Weary Kind", is the theme from the Fox Searchlight Pictures film Crazy Heart and was co-written and produced by T Bone Burnett who will also be producing Bingham's next studio album, due out this year on Lost Highway. The two also won the Golden Globe® Award in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category and received a nod from the BFCA Critics Choice awards.
Ryan Bingham and his band, The Dead Horses, will be touring this summer with stops in Cleveland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Phoenix to name a few. Look for their new album later this year.
