Duffy Hangs On To The UK Singles Chart Top Spot
Duffy has hung on to the top spot in the UK Singles Chart tonight (February 24).
The Welsh singer’s ‘Mercy’ was up against stiff competition from dance act H Two O ft. Platinum’s ‘What’s It Gonna Be’, which charted at Number Two.
Mark Ronson ft. Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie’ rose by nine places to reach Number 13 this week.
The Album Chart was headed up by a new entry from The Feeling, Join With Us, which kept Nickelback’s ‘All The Right Reasons’ at Number Two.
Off the back of Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson’s respective Grammy and Brit successes, their albums saw considerable chart success this week.
Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black – Deluxe Edition rose to Number Three from last week’s Number 14, while Ronson’s ‘Version’, last week’s Number 22, charted at Number Four.
The original non-deluxe version of Back To Black is also at Number 12.
