Download Wolfmother New Single Back Round - Free!
The Australian rockers are preparing to release their sophomore album, an as of yet untitled follow-up to their self titled debut album from 2006. The band fell apart at the end of last year, with drummer Myles Heskett and bassist Chris Ross leaving the band. However, Wolfmother frontman - Andrew Stockdale - was able to remake the band by finding Aidan Nemeth, Ian Peres, and Dave Atkins; the band's new guitarist, bassist/keyboardist, and drummer respectively.
Wolfmother have been celebrating their reunion and building buzz for their upcoming album by providing fans with the first single absolutely free! The track is called "Back Round", and fans can get their hands on it right here!.
Wolfmother performed “Back Round” on Friday, March 27th, as the final act for the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards in Sydney.
The remainder of the album will be recorded when the band goes to L.A. in early April, and will be produced by the acclaimed Alan Moulder. In an interview with Billboard.biz, the bands manager John Watson was quoted as having said “It’s full steam ahead with a view to get a record out for the fourth quarter.”
