Chrisette Michele Readies New Album Epiphany For May Release
Grammy Award winning Def Jam recording artist Chrisette Michele is ready to hit the road in support of her sophomore album, Epiphany. The follow-up to her critically acclaimed gold selling debut, I AM, will hit stores on May 5th just in time for Mother's Day.
“The lead single from her new, second album, Epiphany, 'Epiphany (I'm Leaving)' signals a more hip, funky approach for the Long Island native, melding Michele's fresh jazz tone with a trippy baseline.” - BILLBOARD
“The lead single is a gorgeous ballad-with-a-beat that she says is indicative of a slightly edgier feeling this go-round.” – METRO
Before heading on the road, Chrisette joined with Pooch Hall (The Game) to shoot her new video, “What You Do” featuring Ne-Yo. Directed by Ray Kay (Beyonce), the video will debut at the end of April.
Supporting her highly anticipated release, Chrisette will make several high profile television appearances including VH1 Soulstages: Chrisette Michele presented by Infiniti (4/28), Late Show With David Letterman (5/12), Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (5/22) and CBS Early Show (5/23).
Chrisette is currently embarking on a whirlwind promotional tour, including Dallas, Detroit, Atlanta and Chicago radio and performing at intimate VIP events across the country.
Epiphany continues where I AM left off, featuring production from Ne-Yo & Chuck Harmony as well as tracks with super producers Rodney Jerkins and Claude Kelly (Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis.)
