Check out “Rainy Monday” by Shiny Toy Guns
Universal Record’s band Shiny Toy Guns continues to enjoy wide-spread success as it was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Album of the Year for its Universal debut album We Are Pilots. The single “Rainy Monday” reached as high as 25 on the US Modern Rock charts in 2007. The music video of “Rainy Monday” features multiple black and white shots of the band playing through a rainstorm with flashes of lightning from a high vantage point.
Shiny Toy Guns was founded in 2002 by bassist and keyboardist Jeremy Dawson and vocalist and guitarist Chad Petree. However, it was not until November of 2005 that the band was signed by Universal Records with a finalized copy of We Are Pilots released on October 17th, 2006. Shiny Toy Guns is currently working on a follow-up album to their debut with a release date and title forthcoming.
