Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys and TV on the Radio to play Bonnaroo 2009

As far as music festivals go, Bonnaroo is definitely among the most successful. Last year with headliners like Pearl Jam, Metallica and Jack Johnson, the festival grossed roughly $17 million as well as winning its fourth Top Festival honor at the 2008 Billboard Touring Awards.
This year’s festival promises to be at least as exciting as last year’s, with artists such as the Beastie Boys,Nine Inch Nails,Snoop Dogg,Erykah Badu,The Mars Volta,TV on the Radio,the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and many more already confirmed to be performing. The festival will span a four day period, starting on June 11th and going through the 14th; and will be held in Manchester, Tennessee.
General Admission ticket prices will start at $224.50 for a limited time before being increased to $234.50 and finally $249.50. For fans who do not want to spend the $200+ tickets in one shot, this year the Bonnaroo festival will be offering a payment plan which divides the price into 5 installments of $50 each. Jonathan Mayers, president of festival co-producer Superfly, in an interview with Billboard is quoted as having said that “it seems more relevant than ever to offer it,” in regards to the layaway ticket plan. Mayers went on to say, “We want to make Bonnaroo as accessible as possible. We really believe in super-serving our audience.”
Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, February 7th through
Bonnaroo Tickets.
