50 Cent Plans New Movie Role & Continues Collaboration With Bette Midler
Curtis Jackson, more popularly known as 50 Cent, has been recruited to star along side Forest Whitaker in a modern-day version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s ‘The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’.
According to Variety, Abel Ferrara will be directing and shooting is set to being in the summer. Although it is not clear which role 50 will be assigned to, 50 Cent and Whitaker will each play a different side of the main character.
In addition to getting ready to show off his acting skills again, 50 Cent has recently made headlines for his involvement in several other projects. On May 19, he will be joining Bette Midler for the eighth annual Restoration Project spring picnic in the New York City. They first joined forces in late 2008 for the opening of “The Curtis ‘50Cent’ Jackson Community Garden,” a classroom for neighborhood students to learn about how food grows. Although the development was lead by Midler’s Restoration organization, 50 funded the project.
