HONG KONG, April 28, 2006 –– Ricky Ilacad has been named as Managing Director of MCA Music Inc. Philippines, effective from May 2. The appointment was announced today by Harry Hui, President of Universal Music South East Asia, to whom he will report. Ilacad will lead and oversee the company’s daily operations, develop future business strategies, strengthen media and corporate alliances, boost the sales of international repertoire, and create and develop a domestic-repertoire label.

Moreover, Bautista’s major success extended to Thailand and Indonesia.

Prior to Warner Music, Ilacad held positions at Sony, BMG and EMI.

Harry Hui said, “I can’t think of a better qualified, talented and passionate music man than Ricky to take MCA Music Inc. He is a true pioneer in his field and I am excited to have him on board the Universal Music South East Asia team.”

Ilacad commented, “I am extremely honoured and delighted to join the MCA Music team.
