NEW YORK, July 17, 2017 – Bravado, Universal Music Group’s industry-leading merchandise and brand management company, announced today that Christine Calip Victor will join the company, effective immediately, as SVP Business Development, Business & Legal Affairs.

As a member of Bravado’s senior leadership team, Calip Victor will focus on external business development and strategy, driving new brand and artist relationships, while providing legal support to the company’s expanding global roster and working across artist teams, retail partners and UMG’s brands and labels.  Calip Victor will be based in New York and report to Mat Vlasic, Chief Executive Officer of Bravado.

In making the announcement, Vlasic said, “Bravado is quickly evolving from a traditional merchandise shop to a world-leading brand management company. Christine is a seasoned executive whose work experience will allow us to continue to expand, innovate and create campaigns and programs to super serve our artists and their creative vision.”

“What Bravado has already accomplished under Mat’s leadership makes this a truly exciting time to join the company,” Calip Victor said. “I’m thankful to Mat for this opportunity and I’m looking forward to working with him and the talented team at Bravado, while exploring new opportunities to grow our business. I would also like to thank Monte and Avery Lipman for their support over the years and Steve Gawley, who’s been the world’s greatest coach.”
