Now celebrating its 30^th anniversary, Astralwerks is America’s preeminent home for groundbreaking artists. Blue Note Records

Blue Note Records was founded when two German immigrants, Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff, produced the label’s first recording session with two boogie woogie pianists on January 6, 1939 in New York City.
