Capitol Records Nashville operates as part of the Universal Music Group Nashville. From 1991 to 1995, Capitol Nashville was known as Liberty Records, before being changed back to Capitol in 1995. EMI Records Nashville was founded in 2010 as a sister label to Capitol Records Nashville and operates as part of the Universal Music Group Nashville. The label roster includes Alan Jackson, Brothers Osborne, Chrissy Metz, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Jon Langston, and Kylie Morgan.
Mercury Nashville, operating as a part of Universal Music Group Nashville, was formed in 1958 and was originally a division of the Chicago based Mercury Records.
