Nashville, Tennessee, June 18, 2007– Universal Records South has appointed Teddi Bonadies to Vice President of National Promotion, it was announced today by Michael Powers, Senior Vice President of Promotion for the label. Bonadies will be based in Nashville and will report directly to Powers starting June 25.

“Teddi is a promotion executive of the highest quality,” stated Powers. “I have admired her many accomplishments over the years on Music Row, so you can only imagine how excited I am to work along side her. She is the final piece of the puzzle to complete our promotion staff, and will help make us one of the very best teams in the industry.”

“I could not be happier to have Teddi as a key part of the Universal Records South team,” commented Fletcher Foster, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the label. “I’ve worked with her on-and-off for the past 12 years, having seen her work with radio, artists and within the industry. Prior to joining Universal, Bonadies served as Senior Director of National Promotion for Arista Nashville where she worked for 13 years and played an important role in building the careers of artists like Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Brad Paisley (who she took on his first radio tour) and Carrie Underwood, among many others. Following her time at Arista, she served as Senior Director of National Promotion for Columbia Records, where she worked with Gretchen Wilson, Montgomery Gentry and Miranda Lambert”. Her music career began in the Mid-Atlantic Region Sales office for Sony Music.

Bonadies is a member of the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and the Country Radio Broadcasters’ Annual Seminar Agenda Committee.
