Los Angeles, California, July 9, 2007 – Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD), the sales, marketing and distribution division of Universal Music Group (UMG), has expanded its digital team with the appointments of Adam Flick to Vice President of Marketing/Digital, Laura Saez to Vice President of Sales/Digital and Gabriel Levy to Vice President of Product Development. The announcement was made today by Jim Urie, President of UMGD and Amanda Marks, the company’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of Digital Distribution. Mr. Flick, Ms. Saez and Mr. Levy report to Ms. Marks.

To date, UMGD has grown to include the industry’s market-leading sales and music distribution company (Universal Music Distribution), a rapidly growing independent distribution company (Fontana), an award-winning home entertainment division (Vivendi Visual Entertainment), as well as the management and distribution of Universal Music Group’s digital assets, including mobile (UMGD Digital Distribution).

Prior to joining UMGD, Mr. Flick served as Vice President of Marketing for Universal Music Mobile (UMM). His 12+ years of experience as a digital media and marketing executive include key roles at Airborne Entertainment Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment (Mobile), and AT&T Wireless. Mr. Flick will now oversee all marketing strategies for both online and mobile initiatives.

Most recently, Ms. Saez served as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Sales for Rhino Entertainment. She has an extensive background in digital sales, marketing and new media strategies. Her tenure at Rhino as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Sales, and Senior Director of New Media Marketing, as well as time with Warner Bros. Records and Time Bomb Records, mark her years of experience in the music business. Ms. Saez will head the account management and sales teams.

Formerly. Mr. Levy served as GM of Label Relations, Worldwide, for RealNetworks. Mr. Levy possesses a global perspective from his experience in music, radio, mobile, online marketing, and business development, and from key roles in London at RealNetworks Europe to EMI and BMG strategic positions in New York. Mr. Levy will head UMGD’s product development initiatives for online and mobile, and will be based in New York.
