Gregg Vickers Appointed Senior Vice President of Latin Sales & Marketing

Los Angeles, CA, June 13, 2008 – Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD), the award-winning sales and marketing division of Universal Music Group (UMG), the world’s leading music company, has appointed Gregg Vickers to Senior Vice President of Latin Sales and Marketing. The announcement was made today by Jim Urie, President & CEO of UMGD and to whom Mr. Vickers reports.

Mr. Vickers joins UMGD after a successful sales history in the music industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Commercial for EMI Televisa Music, where he managed the company’s commercial business which included all of its physical and digital sales and marketing activities as well as catalog development. Prior to that, Mr. Vickers served as Vice President of National Sales for EMI Latin from 1997-2006. His background also includes senior sales positions with EMI Distribution and CEMA.

Also being announced today are Nydia Laner, who has been appointed Vice President of Sales, Fonovisa and Disa, and Eddy Laca, who has been appointed Vice President of Sales, Machete and Universal Latino.

Most recently, Ms. Laner served as Vice President of Latin Sales for UMGD. Formerly, Ms. Laner held the position of National Sales Director at Aries Music Entertainment where she led the sales of all company products to domestic and Latin accounts, both retail and wholesale. Prior to that, she was National Sales Director of Lideres Entertainment Group where she held similar responsibilities. Ms. Laner has also worked at World Music Distribution/ Caiman Distribution.

Mr. Laca has served as Vice President of Latin Sales for Universal Music Distribution since 2004. Formerly, he was National Director of Latin Sales for Universal Music

Distribution. His background also includes serving as Director of Marketing for RMM Records.
