Company Wins for Innovation in Best Marketing Campaign and Best Packaging Categories

Los Angeles, June 11, 2009– During the National Association of Recording Merchandisers’ (NARM) awards banquet last night in San Diego, CA, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) scored top trophies for Best Marketing Campaign and Best Packaging for Motown 50 and the Motown House Box Set, respectively. These awards recognized UMe’s innovation in marketing as well as its excellence in creating packaging that exceeded such criteria as marketplace acceptance, impact on consumers, function, improvement from current packaging, and the degree of design.

The NARM format changed this year; instead of awarding label and distribution awards, NARM awards focused on recognizing excellence in marketing, innovation, green, packaging, etc.
