November 3, 2014 – Universal Music has appointed Wisnu Surjono as Managing Director for Indonesia, effective 3rd November 2014.

In his new position, Wisnu will lead his management team to develop business strategies in line with Universal Music’s global and emerging markets vision to significantly expand its domestic repertoire, international collaboration, digital innovation and new business opportunities.

Throughout Wisnu’s career in South East Asia, he consistently and successfully turned around the fortunes of the Asian operations for leading global brands. Wisnu previously held key positions at Coca-Cola and Unilever, most recently as General Manager, where he was recognised for driving significant growth in the business.
