Marlton, NJ, Tuesday, February 8, 2010 – The National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) announced today that it will honor music industry leader Jim Urie with the organization’s coveted Presidential Award for Sustained Executive Achievement. Mr. Urie is the President and CEO of Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD), a division of Universal Music Group, which is the world’s largest music company. He will receive the Award at the 2010 NARM Convention in Chicago on Monday, May 17.
