Universal City, California, December 19, 2007 — Kim Beauchamp has been promoted to Senior Vice President, e-Commerce & Mobile Operations for Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD), it was announced today by Vincent Freda, Executive Vice President, Digital Logistics and Business Services.

Based in Universal City, Ms. Beauchamp will continue to oversee the ecommerce and metadata management departments as well as the development and implementation of business processes to allow for the digital distribution of music to online e-tailers. In her new role, she will take on the responsibility for the delivery of content to UMGD’s mobile partners. This change allows UMGD’s digital content fulfillment to be centralized under a single umbrella.

Ms. Beauchamp has been a critical team member in creating the company’s internal systems infrastructure which has been redesigned to support the changing digital business. She previously was Vice President of e-Commerce Operations for UMG. During her career, Ms. Beauchamp has also worked within the Repertoire Management department for UMG and as Program Director for Universal Studios Information Technology Group.

Ms. Beauchamp received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.
