HULIN APPOINTED VP, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AT UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP INTERNATIONAL
LONDON, April 29, 2010 – Laurent Hulin has been promoted to Vice President, Business Development, at Universal Music Group International (UMGI). The appointment was announced today by Olivier Robert-Murphy, Head of International Business Development, UMGI, to whom he reports.
Universal Music Group is the world’s leading music company. UMGI is the division which manages its businesses in more than 50 countries outside North America.
Hulin was previously Director of Business Development, Digital, at UMGI, and has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, management and business development in the Internet, mobile and entertainment industries. He joined Universal Music in 2005. Previously, he was involved in the launch of several technology companies, and was co-founder of digital sales and marketing consultancy, Thetys.
