UNIVERSAL CITY, CA, June 10 2010 – Fontana, the independent distribution arm of Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company, has promoted Jeff Clayborne to Vice President of Finance and Business Development, it was announced today by Ron Spaulding, President of the company, to whom Mr. Clayborne reports.

“Since joining Fontana, Jeff has made significant contributions and taken on many additional responsibilities,” stated Mr. Spaulding. “His experience and tenacity have benefited and guided the company throughout Fontana’s day-to-day financial activities and needs, as well as across the company’s many label distribution deals.”

Most recently, Mr. Clayborne was Director of Finance and Business Development for Fontana, having moved over from sister company Universal Music Group Distribution where he was Director of Finance and Strategy. Before joining Universal Music, Clayborne worked for eight years at the Walt Disney Company, most recently as Senior Finance Manager. He began his career in Chicago, where he worked at KPMG Peat Marwick and McGladrey & Pullen.
