Andrew Kronfeld is Executive Vice President, Marketing for Universal Music Group. In this role, Kronfeld works directly with UMG’s labels in managing the interaction and coordination of artist repertoire across the new regional hub structure, insuring that artists are receiving the ideal marketing and creative development resources to grow their careers. He is based in the company’s Santa Monica Headquarters.
Previously, Kronfeld served as President of Global Marketing for UMG’s international division in London. He was responsible for developing and driving unified, global marketing strategies to support and advance the success of UMG’s world-class roster of artists. This included coordinating releases, promotion and marketing of all UMG’s international frontline and catalog priority releases. Kronfeld first joined UMG in 1991 at Island Records. In 1999, he joined Universal Music International as VP of International Marketing. He later segued over to Universal Motown as Senior Vice President of International and was subsequently appointed General Manager of the label group before becoming Executive Vice President, Universal Music Group International in 2010.
