ELISE MORA PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTION FOR ISLAND DEF JAM, MOTOWN & REPUBLIC RECORDS
NEW YORK, September 10, 2013 – Elise Mora has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Production for Island Def Jam, Motown and Republic Records. The announcement was made today by Pat Monaco, Executive Vice President of Sales and Production for Island Def Jam, Motown and Republic Records.
Based in New York City, Ms. Mora oversees the scheduling and production process for all physical and digital releases from UMG’s East Coast Shared Services Department which includes releases from Island Def Jam, Motown, Republic Records, Republic Nashville and The Voice.
“Elise is a dedicated, loyal and utterly dependable executive,” said Mr. Monaco. “She cares immensely about our artists and our labels and her years of experience are invaluable. Ms. Mora was most recently Vice President of Production for Island Def Jam and Republic Records. She is a 33 year veteran of the Universal Music Group family, beginning her career at the organization as Director of Production for PolyGram Group Distribution. She was also Manager of Production at Arista Records.
