LONDON, 10 MARCH 2014 — Caroline International, the premier global partner for independent labels and artists, has today signed an extensive international agreement with Turnstile Music, the UK independent label that is home to artists including Christopher Owens, Perfume Genius, Gruff Rhys, Los Campesinos! and Cate Le Bon. Caroline will now distribute all Turnstile releases outside of North America and provide a variety of label services for each project.

Turnstile was established in 2010 by Alun Llwyd and Kevin Tame as an artist partnership vehicle. Based in Cardiff, its ethos has been to work in partnership alongside artists and build long term sustainable international careers driven by the artists’ vision. This year promises to be their biggest yet with new releases by Gruff Rhys, Perfume Genius and Christopher Owens and debut albums from Sea Lion and R Seiliog amongst others. The label will be holding its first ever SXSW showcase this Thursday, March 13, at St. David’s Historic Sanctuary in Austin with performances by Christopher Owens, Gruff Rhys, Perfume Genius, Cate Le Bon, Sea Lion and H Hawkline.
