Republic Records Sells Over 15 Million Songs From NBC's "The Voice"

Records partnership with NBC Emmy Award winning The Voice has officially yielded digital song sales surpassing 15 million as of November 2013 in the U.S.

Over the course of five seasons providing label services to the hit television show, the collaboration has spawned countless hits and fueled the dawn of rising stars such as 2012 victor Cassadee Pope and 2013 winner, the youngest in the show’s history, Danielle Bradbery. It’s a formidable collaboration that continues to grow stronger each year.

Meanwhile, seven songs have hit #1 on iTunes Overall Top Songs Chart, while 46 songs total have landed in the Top 10. The Voice singles have reached number one on seven different iTunes charts including Pop, Country, Alternative, Rock, R&B, Reggae, and Blues, and 17 singles have generated over sales of 100,000 each. These memorable renditions include Pope’s "Over You", Javier Colon’s "Stitch By Stitch", Dia Frampton’s "Heartless", and more.

In addition, 40-plus songs from the show have charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Not only has the label helped catalog the show’s most crucial moments, but it has generated some substantial hits online and at radio.

Republic Records is proud of this achievement and looks forward to further success in collaboration with NBC and The Voice.

Tune in for the season finale on Tuesday December 17th at 9:00pm ET/PT.
