DAVID NATHAN PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, VIDEO PROMOTION AND SPORTS MARKETING, UNIVERSAL MOTOWN RECORDS GROUP

New York, New York, September 2, 2005 - David Nathan has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Video Promotion and Sports Marketing for the Universal Motown Records Group. The announcement was made today by Monte Lipman, President, Universal Records and Sylvia Rhone, President, Motown Records and Executive Vice President, Universal Records.

Based in New York City, Mr. Nathan will oversee video promotion for all Universal and Motown artists. He will work closely with MTV Networks (MTV, MTV2, VH1 and Nickelodeon), The Fuse and BET. Additionally, he will continue with select pop promotion duties and liaise with sports leagues for promotional opportunities such as the NBA, NFL, and MLB on behalf of Universal and Motown artists such as 3 Doors Down, Stevie Wonder, Jack Johnson and JoJo.

"David is extremely dedicated to our artists and is a key asset to the Universal team," stated Mr. Lipman. "He is well respected in his field and I’m sure we’ll see more great things from him."

Mr. Nathan was most recently Vice President, Video Promotion for Universal Records. He joined Universal Records in 1996 in the Pop Promotion department and rose through the ranks to Vice President, Pop Promotion before moving over to Video. Before Universal, Mr. Nathan worked for Island Records and Columbia Records in their respective promotions departments.

Prior to his relocation to New York City, Mr. Nathan was a club promoter in Boston, MA, where he graduated from Northeastern University.
