LORI LAMBERT APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCES, UNIVERSAL MOTOWN RECORDS GROUP

New York, July 18, 2005 - Lori Lambert has been named Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Universal Motown Records Group (UMRG), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music company. The announcement was made today by Monte Lipman, President of Universal Records, and Sylvia Rhone, President of Motown Records/Executive Vice President of Universal Records, to whom Ms. Lambert will jointly report.

Based in New York, Ms. Lambert will be responsible for creating brand partnerships and cross promotions with corporate entities and advertising agencies, strategically aligning Universal Motown artists with appropriate promotional, marketing, lifestyle and advertising campaigns. She will act as the company's liaison to the electronic gaming industry and the point person for all entertainment events and music opportunities in the world of sports. Additionally, she will be responsible for overseeing the company's Film and TV Licensing efforts.

Ms. Lambert has over twenty years of music industry marketing experience. Prior to joining Universal Motown, Ms. Lambert served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Sony Music, where she created the department in 1998.
