UNIVERSAL MUSIC AND SYBERSOUND RECORDS, INC. ANNOUNCE U.S. DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

Los Angeles, CA, June 24, 2005 – Los Angeles, CA, June 24, 2005 – Universal Music & Video Distribution (UMVD), the award-winning sales division of Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Sybersound Records, Inc., the world's premier producer of home-market karaoke software. The agreement, which takes effect immediately, covers all of Sybersound’s products, including their best selling Party Tyme Karaoke and Billboard Top 10 Karaoke series.

“Sybersound offers the highest-quality products and is among one of the most innovative companies in this fast-growing sector of the business,” stated Jim Urie, President of UMVD. “We are always on the lookout for companies whose products bring the experience of music to consumers in new and exciting ways.”

“Universal is a powerful organization with a vast distribution network,” commented Jan Stevens, President and CEO of Sybersound. “We look forward to working with the talented and driven Universal sales team to dramatically increase our business this year with our combined efforts and resources.”

Propelled in part by the success of such television programs as American Idol, the home karaoke business has grown rapidly. Karaoke machines and karaoke CD+Gs, which include sounds tracks, lyrics and graphics, are now carried by major retailers nationally.

“We've found that our karaoke CD+Gs are being purchased primarily by soccer moms for their families,” added Stevens, noting the company’s plans for an ambitious home-market karaoke release schedule in 2005. “It’s great to be part of a business that invites people to sing and brings music into their homes.”

Universal Music and Video Distribution handles the distribution and sales for such labels as Universal Motown Records Group, Island Def Jam Music Group, Roadrunner, Interscope Geffen A&M Records, MCA Nashville, Universal South, Lost Highway, Mercury Nashville, Verve Music Group, Universal Classics, Universal Music Latino, Universal Music Enterprises, Hip-O, UTV, Univision Music Group, DreamWorks, Disa, ABKCO, Hollywood, Lideres Entertainment, Lyric Street, RMM, Thump, Ark 21, Rounder, Fonovisa, Varese Sarabande, Walt Disney, VI Music and Viva Discos.
