KIM SULLIVAN APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF VIDEO SALES, UNIVERSAL MUSIC AND VIDEO DISTRIBUTION/VISUAL ENTERTAINMENT
Santa Monica, California, March 1, 2004 — Kim Sullivan has been appointed Vice President of Video Sales, Universal Music and Video Distribution (UMVD)/Visual Entertainment, it was announced today by Tom O’Malley, Executive Vice President, UMVD.
Based at UMVD’s headquarters in Universal City, Ms. Sullivan will oversee sales and marketing for all DVD and video releases from UMVD/Visual Entertainment. She will also facilitate acquisitions of new properties.
“Kim’s background in video and home entertainment sales and marketing made her the exact candidate we hoped to find” said Mr. O’Malley. “She will be a tremendous asset in helping us build our new division.”
Previously, Ms. Sullivan was Vice President of Sales for Ventura Distribution where she was instrumental in the acquisition and development of such successful direct-to-DVD/video titles as Girls Gone Wild and Taebo. She has also held executive sales positions at MVP Home Entertainment, Celebrity Home Entertainment and Tapeworm Distributors. Ms. Sullivan began her film and video career at MGM where she helped develop their non-theatrical business.
