BOBBY RYMER APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT ALMO IRVING/RONDOR MUSIC NASHVILLE

(Nashville, TN) October 4, 2002 - Lance Freed, President, Rondor Music International, today officially announced the appointment of publishing executive, Bobby Rymer, to the position of Vice President, Almo Irving/Rondor Music Nashville. Rymer will assume the position left vacant by David Conrad, who exits mid-October, to become Executive Vice President of A&R/Head of Creative MCA/Mercury Nashville.

Reporting to Freed, Rymer will be responsible for all aspects of the music publishing business for Rondor in Nashville. He will continue to scout and develop new talent, and work closely with the existing roster of songwriters. Since joining the company in 1990, Rymer began his publishing career in tape copy and worked his way through the ranks to the position of Creative Director, which he held for the last six years. In his creative role at Rondor, Rymer has placed songs on major releases by Gary Allan, Trace Adkins, Faith Hill, Jo Dee Messina, Tim McGraw, Jamie O’Neal and George Strait, among others.

Almo/Irving’s current Nashville roster includes Emmylou Harris, Annie Roboff, Paul Kennerley, Anthony Smith, Nanci Griffith, Marty Stuart, Tony Mullins, Jonny Lang and Patty Griffin to name a few.
