The Nelly Furtado Countdown to Mi Plan has Begun
iTunes kicked off this week with the Nelly Furtado "Countdown To" promotion, which will offer 3 exclusive pre-album release tracks
iTunes, the world's #1 online music store, has just kicked off the "Countdown To" promotion with Nelly Furtado's upcoming album Mi Plan, in an innovative move within the Latin Genre. July 21st marked the inception of the promotion, which will offer three exclusive pre-album release tracks from Mi Plan, due to be released September 15th in the US.
Mi Plan is the 4th studio album of Grammy award-winner and global superstar, and the first one completely done in Spanish.
After the worldwide e-release of the lead single "Manos Al Aire" on June 30th, Nelly's fans will now be able to get three more tracks from Mi Plan only available on iTunes, before it hits the stores. As in her past albums, Mi Plan reflects Nelly's musical diversity and unique style.
"Más" was the first track to be released under the "Countdown To" promotion on July 21st, garnering positive comments by fans across the world.
The next song, "Mi Plan", featuring Cuban-Canadian singer/songwriter Alex Cuba, will be available on August 11th, and then "Bajo Otra Luz", featuring Julieta Venegas and La Mala Rodríguez, on September 1st.
Purchase one of the "Countdown To" tracks and buy Nelly Furtado's album, Mi Plan within the first two weeks of release and receive an exclusive track.
