Ray Lavender Hits the Road With Lyfe Jennings for 19-City Tour
SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 1 -- In support of his upcoming, self-titled debut album, Akon protege and Geffen R&B rising star, Ray Lavender, hits the road with Lyfe Jennings for the "Baby I'm A Star," 19-city tour beginning July 1st in Atlanta, GA (check the cities Ray will be performing in below).
After gaining recognition from the success of last summer's street single, "My Girl Gotta Girlfriend," which landed Ray a performance on Showtime at the Apollo. "Stay," the lead single from Ray Lavender's debut album, written by R&B star Tank, is an anthem of unconditional love. The ultimate ode to women where Ray stresses dedication in a relationship despite the tribulations. Ray Lavender's model looks have recently landed him the role of Akon's Konvict clothing spokes model. Ads are currently featured in GQ, THE SOURCE, VIBE and XXL magazine.
