Prima J: Your Favorite Chilosa Girls

Prima J burst onto the scene last year with their smash song, "Rock Star", which was the lead track from the Bratz™ Motion Picture Soundtrack. Oddly, though, cousins Jessica and Janelle Martinez can hardly be called either "brats" or "rock stars". "Far from precocious and everything but bratty, the pair are actually a real-life version of the comradery and competitive edge captured in the movie."

As described by Erica Grayson, the Geffen Records A&R who signed the girls, Prima J sparked her interest with their "girl power". "They were like the girls all girls wanted to hang out with... [Their] music makes me feel like it's Friday night in the car, dressed up with all my homegirls on the way to the club," she elaborates in an exclusive interview with UniversalMusic.com.
