Mariah, Lil Wayne, Kanye & More Nominated For American Music Awards

The American Music Awards nominees were announced today, and Mariah received two nominations in the following categories:

Favorite Female Artist - Pop or Rock Music (click to vote)

Favorite Female Album - Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music (click to vote)

Mariah, who garnered over 30 AMA nominations over the years shares the record for most wins (four) in the "Favorite Female Artist - Soul / R&B" category with Aretha Franklin.

The 2008 American Music Awards, will air live on Sunday, November 23rd, 2008 at 8:00pm ET on ABC.

More AMA nominees include:

Lil Wayne - Artist Of The Year, Favorite Male Artist (Rap), Favorite Album (Rap)
Kanye West - Favorite Male Artist (Rap), Favorite Album (Rap)
Rihanna - Favorite Female Artist (Pop), Favorite Female Artist (R&B)
