Johnta's Here To Stay...
Island Def Jam’s own Johnta Austin, a proven song writer and producer, who has already notched two Grammys for his work on Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” and Mary J. Blige’s “Be Without You” is trying his hand at a new game. Specifically, Johnta is going at it solo with his widely anticipated debut release album Ocean Drive scheduled to hit stores March 4th.
The video for Johnta’s first single “The One That Got Away” premiered Tuesday, January 14th and features Johnta in a dimly lit lounge alongside the beautiful Mel B. of the Spice Girls.
If Johnta proves to be nearly as successful an artist as he has been a songwriter, he’ll be here to stay.
