Jack Johnson To Release New Album, SLEEP THROUGH THE STATIC
The new year brings us one of the most-anticipated releases in in recent memory with Jack Johnson's Sleep Through The Static. The buzz is deafening on this brilliant album, which just might be Jack's best work yet.
Jack Johnson's new studio album on Brushfire Records was recorded in Hawaii using 100% solar energy.

Currently, the debut single, "If I Had Eyes", is shaping up to be Jack's biggest single ever with immediate playlists from KROQ-Los Angeles to Radio 1 in the UK. It is Top 10 in the digital tracks chart in Canada and is in the Top 25 national playlist charts in Switzerland, Germany, the UK, and France where it is playlisted at #1 on national pop rock radio.
Jack will be on tour in 2008 to support the release of Sleep Through the Static hitting Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hawaii, United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Holland, Canada and the United States. Jack's first US show will be the Kokua Festival in Hawaii on Earth Day 2008.
Joining him on tour this year in Australia, New Zealand and Japan will be Matt Costa. Rogue Wave and Money Mark along with new Brushfire signings Mason Jennings and Neil Halstead will perform for select dates in North America. Money Mark and Mason Jennings will also accompany Johnson on the European leg.
Jack will have a "Village Green" at every show which will include 5-6 local non-profit organizations.
Jack has released 3 solo studio records to date, Brushfire Fairytales, On & On and In Between Dreams, and contributed to a number of soundtracks including Curious George, A Brokedown Melody, Thicker Than Water and September Sessions. In total, these albums have sold over 15 million copies worldwide.
Sleep Through the Static was produced by JP Plunier, who was the producer of Jack's first album, Brushfire Fairytales. Jack's band consists of long time members Adam Topol (Drums) and Merlo Podlewski (Bass), and ZachGill (Keys) who joined the band during the tour to support In Between Dreams.
