Detours Aren't Always So Bad

There's a lot going on right now for Sheryl Crow...

Her next album, Detours, is set to hit stores in a little less than 2 weeks (2/5/08), she's on the cover of this week's Billboard Magazine, the video for her lead single, "Love Is Free", is picking up steam and she's got a 4-song acoustic performance that you can view on Amazon.com (where you can also pre-order Detours).

Sheryl Crow will also take over SIRIUS Satellite Radio's "The Spectrum" channel. The exclusive five-day special will feature Sheryl playing her favorite music including a track-by-trackpreview and in-depth discussion of her new album Detours in stores February 5th.

During the take-over Sheryl also performs songs from Detours and some of her classic hits at SIRIUS' studios. Sheryl Crow's Spectrum will kick-off on February 4th at 7am ET and run through February 8th on "The Spectrum" channel 18.

You can read SIRIUS' Full Press Release Here.

Check out Sheryl Crow's latest video for "Love is Free", the second single off of her new hit album, Detours.

"Love is Free" is inspired by the strength of the people of New Orleans in the face of a battered city. "What struck me about it," Crow says on her blog, "is the stoicism of the New Orleans people. They are very spiritually based. You can see it in their eyes that they aren't going to give up. They are going to rebuild."
