Black Eyed Peas To Perform In Asia To Celebrate 250 Years Of Guinness
The Grammy Award-winning act is set to perform in Asia this September 24th in honor of the 250th anniversary of Guinness. Black Eyed Peas will be joined by several artists, as a part of Guinness’ global anniversary celebrations, which is setting up live music performances across various cities, including New York, Lagos, Yaounde, Kuala Lumpur and most importantly, Guinness’ hometown, Dublin.
Although there has been no announcement on the country where Black Eyed Peas will be performing, acts have been confirmed for the Dublin portion of the global Guinness festivities. Estelle, Kasabian, Noah & the Whale, the Wombats, the Enemy, Soul II Soul, the Undertones, D'Banj, Reverend & the Makers, Mongrel, Mystery Jets, Johnny Flynn and DJ and producer David Holmes, have been confirmed and there are more artists to come.
The Dublin series of performances are set to be hosted by the St. James Gate Brewery, where Guinness has long been produced. This historic location, a brewery that Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000 year lease on in 1759, will be transformed into a live music studio that will bring in an audience of 2,000 guests for the performances.
Cheers Guinness!
